Welcome to the 19th annual Jan Macpherson Memorial Tournament, May 25-27, 2018, in San Carlos, California.
Begun in 1991, the tournament was renamed in 2000 to celebrate the memory of Jan Macpherson – former coach, manager, league president, excavator (with her husband James) of Macpherson Field, and one of the true heroes of our league.
In this ASA-sanctioned pre-qualifier tournament, teams will play at least 4 games: 3 or 4 in pool play followed by a single-elimination championship bracket. To get on the waiting list, please contact the Tournament Directors at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are excited to share that the following will be available during our tournament:
Highlands Park (Stadium and North/South fields)
A full snack bar and BBQ will be available at highlands. In addition, we will have vendors on-site (near the snack shack area) selling custom tournament t-shirts and, back by popular demand, helmet painting!
A BBQ and snack bar will be available at Tierra Linda. In addition, the custom t-shirt vendor will also be on-site at this location selling t-shirts.
Heather and Flanagan Fields
Water and light snacks will be available for sale at the tournament desk for these locations.

This year's tournament will have teams in the 8U, 10C, 10B and 12 Open divisions. We are looking forward to having the following teams participate in the 2018 Macpherson Tournament. Please check in with the tournament desk at least 1 hour prior to your first game. There is a tournament desk available at each site. At this time we will verify that rosters have been submitted, insurance forms are in place, and payment has been made.
Each team must submit an official Standard ASA Roster, generated from the ASA registration system at www.norcalasa.org. If you need help, please contact Sandy Scott at (916) 962-1631 or email@example.com for guidance.
If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the Tournament Desk at any of the locations for more information.
Highlands Park will be a nice place to rest between games. There will be food (BBQ, snacks, drinks) and Custom Tournament T-shirts and helmet painting for sale, and a playground for younger siblings.
By participating in the Tournament, you agree to abide by the Official Tournament Rules. The most frequently asked-about rules are:
