Welcome To San Carlos Youth Softball

We have been in San Carlos since the 1970s forming teams for girls ages 4-16. Our teams are managed and coached by family volunteers and play locally in the spring and around the peninsula in the summer and fall. Our girls have fun, learn a lot about the game and make valuable friendships.

The Spring 2021 SCYSA recreational league will comprise of five divisions:

  • Rookies: T-ball and coach pitch for players ages 4-6 as of January 1, 2021.
  • 8U: Players who are 7 or 8 as of January 1, 2021.
  • 10U: Players who are 9 or 10 as of January 1, 2021.
  • 12U: Players who are 11 or 12 as of January 1, 2021.
  • 14U: Players who are 13 or 14 as of January 1, 2021 (availability depends upon enrollment numbers).  Peninsula League may allow 13 year olds to play on a 12U team.
  • 16U: Players who are 15 or 16 as of January 1, 2021 (availability depends upon enrollment numbers).
