We have been in San Carlos since the 1970s forming teams for girls ages 4-14. Our teams are managed and coached by family volunteers and play locally in the spring and around the peninsula in the summer and fall. Our girls have fun, learn a lot about the game and make valuable friendships.
The SCYSA recreational league comprises five divisions:
Sunday January 13, 9 am - noon: Evaluation Day at Highlands South (8U and above)
Sunday January 20, 9 am - noon: Skills clinic (all divisions) plus make-ups for evaluations @ Highlands South
Friday February 1, 6 - 8 pm: Special Event @ Madsen Field, Burton Park (details TBD)
Friday March 1: 6 - 8 pm: Opening Night @Madsen Field, Burton Park
Saturday March 23: Picture Day
Last weekend for games: May 11-12
On rainy days, fields are often closed to protect players as well as fields.

The Peninsula Youth Umpires Association is seeking new umpires to officiate youth fast pitch softball on the Peninsula. These are paid positions and a good way to make some extra summer money. No experience necessary. The PYUA will provide training before you take the field. Our only requirements are minimum 16 years of age and a desire to be a part of the game.
