Welcome To San Carlos Youth Softball

We have been in San Carlos since the 1970s forming teams for girls ages 4-14. Our teams are managed and coached by family volunteers and play locally in the spring and around the peninsula in the summer and fall. Our girls have fun, learn a lot about the game and make valuable friendships.

The SCYSA recreational league comprises five divisions:

  • Rookies: T-ball for players ages 4-6 as of January 1, 2018.
  • 8U: Players who are 7 or 8 as of January 1, 2018. Second year players who are 6 years old as of January 1 may try out for 8U.
  • 10U: Players who are 9 or 10 as of January 1, 2018.
  • 12U: Players who are 11 or 12 as of January 1, 2018.
  • 14U: Players who are 13 or 14 as of January 1, 2018 (availability depends upon enrollment numbers).  Peninsula League may allow 13 year olds to play on a 12U team.
